Once you walk into the Whitcomb House, you will feel the warmth and relaxed atmosphere that you desire in a classic Vermont country farmhouse yet we have all the modern conveniences.

The Whitcomb House was purchased in 1848 by the Whitcomb family and today you will see many historic charms melded with renovated updates. Whether you are looking for a Vermont ski vacation, fall foliage sightseeing, a visit to see your child at one of our many great colleges, we will make your stay a comfortable one.

Our bed and breakfast features three charming country suites, each with its own private bath for the ultimate in relaxation. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee and a delicious home-cooked breakfast buffet, complete with local Vermont products and home-baked treats, in our sun-filled dining room.

For more information on our rates or to book a room, please click here.

The Whitcomb House has been fortunate to host many weddings over the years, with most couples choosing to have their ceremony in our gardens overlooking Mount Mansfield and the Browns River. Across from the inn is our renovated 95-year-old barn, which has seen its fair share of dancing! The barn is the perfect spot to host your wedding reception, reunion, or just a great space for a barn dance.
